Description
This is a pressato oil. The olives and the Baklouti green chilies are crushed together in the same press at the same time, with no added essences or flavourings, so the essential oils from the peppers harmonise with the oil from the olives as it is made. It is the difference between a flavour stirred in afterwards and a flavour built in from the start.
The result is clean, bright heat with genuine green-pepper flavour behind it: spicy, balanced, and retaining the full pepper flavor.
Cook with it freely. Fry eggs in it, roast potatoes and vegetables, build a spicy marinade, toss it through pasta, or drizzle it over pizza and grilled corn — anywhere you want a fresh chili kick.
