Our Mission Fig Balsamic is a fruit-fused vinegar with everything you would expect from ripe Italian figs blended into our traditional 18-year-style dark balsamic base: sweet, sour and jammy notes of red fruit, ripe Italian fig and a hint of plum.
It blends delicate acidity with real Italian fig purée, achieving a nose and texture meant to complement any salad, cheese plate, relish or marinade. This classic Mediterranean ingredient shines here, exuding unmistakable sweet and fruity flavour.
It is a natural over cheese and charcuterie — especially blue cheese, brie or prosciutto — and is excellent glazed on pork, cooked into a relish, tossed with roasted vegetables, or spooned over ice cream or combined with a favorite olive oil for dipping crusty bread.
