When the heat of the summer causes the temperature gauge to rise, staying cool becomes a top priority.  Thankfully, Mother Nature provides us with many foods to help us beat the beat and turn down the internal temperature within.   A good example of a food like this is watermelon.   It only takes one bite to understand why.  It’s essence is juicy and refreshing.  Whether served in slices or juiced into a cooling drink, watermelon quenches your thirst and supplies juicy hydration in every bite.  Join me as we explore creative ways to enjoy this amazing and versatile ingredient with much more than just a salt shaker!

“The Chew”; GAC’s “Celebrity Kitchen”; Scripps/Shop at Home Network’s “Cook’s Corner” and local shows such as WTVF’s “Talk of the Town”; WZTV’s “Fox & Friends” & WSMV’s “More at Midday”.
